About Me

I studied English Literature at Tsuda University in Tokyo, and continued on to study linguistics and teaching Japanese at University of Illinois and obtained an MA in Asian Studies. After graduation, I worked at both Japanese and US computer companies - large and small,  in sales and marketing.  As a co-founder, I ran a software company for 12 years. I also have experience in teaching Japanese, fashion business, and translation.

When I had my own company, I joined Seiwajyuku, a Japanese entrepreneur group, where I learned business philosophy from a renowned business person, Mr. Kazuo Inamori, who is also an ordained buddhist monk.  During the 8 years with this organization, I wrote numerous articles on philosophy and business for a local Japanese paper. This is where I was exposed to the concepts of Higher-Self and Lower-Self as well as the Will of the Universe. I started to  learn both Japanese and Western philosophies, mainly so called New Thought. One thing one of my Japanese philosophy gurus, Hitori Saito mentioned changed my life. He said "The opposite of love is fear" but didn't explain further. I decided to embark upon a mission to understand what this meant. This is how I discovered ACIM, and found Alan Cohen, my holistic life coach teacher. I am so blessed to have discovered Alan as well as many other authors/coaches who are based on ACIM and New Thought.

My favorite authors include Alan Cohen, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Louise Hay, and many others.

When I have personal time, I enjoy cooking and eating delicious food, sewing, traveling all over the world, reading (or listening to audiobooks), yoga, swimming, and having fun with my daughter.
